Junior Achievement - Popcorn Company Pop-Up

Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business? Join us in collaboration with Junior Achievement USA to get a taste of what is takes to be an entrepreneur, using popcorn as your start-up venture. Throughout this week-long camp, you will learn how to plan, launch, and operate your own popcorn business, as well as have the opportunity to speak with real business owners from the community. On Friday, to finish the camp, each popcorn company will "sell" their popcorn at the Springboro Library, and all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library!

Little Norwegian Christmas in July

Let's get into the Christmas spirit, Teen Travelers!

Christmas in Norway is a very big deal, and is celebrated by the vast majority of its residents. On December 23rd, most families celebrate Lille Julaften, or "Little Christmas Eve," and spend the day decorating the tree, and preparing for the upcoming celebrations.
Norwegian rosemaling, or "rose painting," is a form of decorative folk art painting that has been important to Norwegian culture since the 1700s. So, come to the Springboro Library and paint a wooden ornament inspired by the rosemaling technique, and immerse yourself in a little bit of the Norwegian Christmas spirit.
