Classroom Sets/Book Club Kits

Class sets are made available on a first come, first served basis.

Before you begin your unit or topic, check out the entire class set (7 – 25 books) on your library card. Teachers are permitted to keep the sets for four weeks, one week longer than the normal loan period. Suggested grade levels listed are based on School Library Journal reviews of these titles. Currently, the library has class sets/book club kits of the following titles:

Toddler - Preschool Sets:

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Sets:

4th - 6th Grade Sets:

* each title is labeled for its lexile measure

Young Adult Book Club Kits:

* each title is labeled for its lexile measure

Adult Book Club Kits:

The number of copies vary per title. We are constantly adding to this list, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

CLASSROOM VISITS

The children’s librarian is happy to visit school classrooms for whatever you need. She can teach your students how the library works, show them how to access library databases from home, or just read a story.

REFERENCE CARTS

Is your whole class doing reports on medieval times or another big project like it? Let us know and we can create a reference cart for your students to use in the library. This ensures that the library can help all your students do the best research possible. (And prevents the first few students from checking out all the available books on the subject!)
