Summer Program Schedule

The Franklin-Springboro Public Library has an awesome lineup of five entertaining, educational, and fun experiences planned for the summer. Our calendar is packed with programs that will get everyone up and moving, laughing and learning all summer long.

Registration is not required for any of these programs. All ages are welcome, but children between the ages of 3 and 12 are the suggested audience.

Summer Reading Kick-Off: A Universe of Stories Space Party
Friday May 31
6:30 to 8 p.m.
Franklin Library
Start the summer reading program with a bang by joining us for games, experiments, crafts, and other space-themed activities.

Mike Hemmelgarn
Tuesday June 11
9:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Library
1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the Springboro Library
Mike Hemmelgarn's performance will include comedy, juggling, and puppetry.

Animal Tales
Tuesday June 25
9:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Library
1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the Springboro Library
Children will get to meet several live animals at Animal Tale's Creatures of the Galaxy show.

Joanie Calem
Tuesday July 9
9:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Library
1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the Springboro Library
Joanie Calem's show includes stories and songs that get children laughing, learning, moving, and singing along.

Fitness Fun
Friday July 19
6 - 7:30 p.m.
at Ohio Sports Academy, 270 Hiawatha Trail in Springboro.
Children will run, jump, tumble, and play on the equipment at the gymnastics facility. Children should wear soft clothing, and parents will be asked to sign a waiver at the event.
