Bath Bombs

Have a fizzy and fun time making bath bombs!

Join Stephanie Dunkle for a fun afternoon of making bath bombs to give as gifts for friends or to treat yourself.  Participants will make three effervescent balls enclosed in three plastic ornaments.

Arm Knitting

No knitting needles, no experience, no problem!

With the weather turning colder, it's time to bundle up.  What better way to add a stylish warm layer to your outfit than a scarf.  Join Madi Stewart as she shares the fun of arm knitting and take home your own creation.

Machine Sewing Basics

Whether you are a machine sewing beginner or just need a refresher, join Fat Quarter and learn how to make a throw pillow from start to finish.  We'll cover the parts of the machine, how to set it up (loading bobbin, threading, choosing a stitch, etc.)  All materials and sewing machines are provided.

Fat Quarter, named for a special cut of fabric, is a creative business that offers mobile sewing classes.  Founders Anna and Mallory have been sewing  for a combined total of over 30 years.

Chemistry Demonstration - Springboro

Celebrate National Chemistry Week with us at the library. A chemistry demonstration will be presented at 11 a.m. Saturday October 27 at the Springboro Library.

Chemist Bill Crawford will present Chemistry is Out of This World! This program will be enjoyed most by children ages 7-11.

Sensory Storytime - Springboro

ABC Pediatrics will host a Sensory Storytime at 10 a.m. Wednesday September 19 at the Springboro Library.

Songs, games, activities, and stories will encourage children (ages 18 months through 5 years) to use all their senses to experience this unique storytime.

The program is open to all children but is especially geared toward children with special needs.

Registration is required. Please contact the Springboro Library to sign up.
