Yoga Series - Basics of Yoga

Have you ever wanted to learn what this thing called "yoga" is all about?  Would you like a refresher on your current yoga practice?  Join Renee to learn and practice the most common yoga poses and how to adapt them for your body needs.  You'll learn how to incorporate poses into your day to improve your balance, lengthen and stretch muscles in your upper body/neck, hips, lower back, and legs.

Renee Weber is a 500 HR Certified Yoga Instructor who has a passion for connecting with people and helping them find their inner peace.  With over 28 years in corporate positions, Renee understands how stress can negatively impact us.  Please join us to learn how you can find greater peace in your life.

Wear loose fitting clothing or workout clothes.  Bring your own props if you have any.  Some props will be available for use if need.  All levels welcome, beginners encouraged.  Ages 16+

Painting Coin Banks for Teens

The library will host Lee from Paintbrush Pottery and teens, ages 9 -18, will be able to paint a pre-selected* coin bank!  Lee will take the painted banks to fire them at the ceramic studio and then bring them back to be picked up at the library where you attended the program. 

Note: Banks are not fully completed on the same day; you will be called when your bank is ready to be picked up.

Registration is required.  Space is limited! REGISTRATION OPENS AFTER MEMORIAL DAY!!

*When registering, you will select which bank you would like to paint. The studio is only bringing the selected banks, please be certain of your choice!
