Yoga for Every BODY

Join us on Saturday, October 31 at the Springboro Library from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. for this chair-based yoga class which is suitable for new or beginning students, those recovering from injuries, or those with a limited range of motion. The class explores the foundational postures and practices of yoga to gently build flexibility, strength, relieve stress, increase energy, improve concentration, and develop the ability to relax. Regardless of your age or physical condition, this class is a great workout and will inspire you to awaken your body and mind to the fulfillment yoga brings!

Facilitator Stacy Lynn is an Exercise Physiologist, Sports Medicine Specialist, Yoga Therapist, and owner of Enlightened Fitness, LLC.

Do you have a bucket list?  Does it include a remote backpacking adventure?  In the northwestern portion of Lake Superior is a unique and remote island archipelago.  Isle Royale National Park's 132,018 acres was federally designated as wilderness in 1976.  A venture by foot, canoe, or kayak into the park's interior can transport one back thousands of years.  Through a visual presentation Darryl "Buckeye" Smith tells of his week-long journey to the least visited of all the National Parks.  He will also include tips and details to help plan your own Isle Royale adventure as well as talk about Ohio's own Buckeye Trail.  Bring your curiosity and questions.

Some of Darryl "Buckeye" Smith's many interests are hiking and history.  He is a Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) Trustee and President of the Miami Rivers Chapter of the BTA.
