Girls Fight Back: Self Defense for Teen Girls

Girls, ages 13-18, are invited to a self-defense class designed for teen girls and instructed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.


This event includes a discussion that covers the basics of self-defense and then some hands-on training.

This program is free; Registration is required and parents will need to sign a waiver for participants.

Teen Winter Reading Program Begins

Teens, ages 11 -18, are invited to participate in the Teen Winter Reading Program.

 * Reading logs will be available at both libraries.

* Mark a box on the reading log for every hour that you read. Reading for school DOES count!

* When you reach a prize level, bring your reading log to the library and claim your prize.

* We will stamp your reading log at each level you complete. 

* Once you complete your reading log, turn it in for a chance to win one of our exciting baskets given away at the end of the program!

* Program ends January 31, 2018

Calligraphy I

Local artist Ann Bain will teach what she describes as "a down & dirty intensive intro to calligraphy."  Concentrating on calligraphy since 1980, Ann sells out of several local shops and her home studio.

Program is free and open to adults ages 16 and up.  All materials are provided.
